Last week’s Motse Collective Impact Ecosystem Gathering was an inspiring and energising convening for leaders and implementers in entrepreneurial support. Entrepreneurship can transform South Africa and any transformational challenge needs to be tackled collectively.✨
Viridian believes this too, which is why, with the support of UK South Africa Tech Hub, we established Launch League, a community of practice and knowledge hub for South African entrepreneur support orgnisations (ESOs).
Several of the participants from our recent Launch League Green programme were part of the Motse Gathering, including Morwamanaka Phala from Entrepreneurs Connect HUB, Denise Dookoo from Angels Resource Centres, and Lana Franks from Allan Gray Makers.
We were thrilled when Zimkhitha Peter, CEO of Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies, invited Viridian Director Michelle Matthews up on to the stage to hand out their prestigious Motse 2025 Impact Awards. This was in recognition of the role that the Launch League initiative has played in supporting, training and convening South African ESOs since 2020. 🌟
